This popular range of Micro Turning tools embodies the craftsmanship resplendent in Robert Sorbys world renowned full size tools. The unique sizes and profiles in this series have been adapted to provide the flexibility and control essential for detail work. These tools are ideal for working on smaller lathes where the handle of a normal size tool might encounter the lathe bed during some operations.

The greater the diameter the greater the undercut required to effectively hollow out the form. Of course the same is true of smaller diameters. This tool is particularly effective when openings are especially small. Available individually or in the ornamental hollowing set (A38HS3T) originally designed for crafting Christmas decorations.
